Industry 4.0
Industry 4.0 means digital transformation, based on the development of technologies that enable disruptive changes in business models, processes and products. It brings together a set of smart technologies for materials, connectivity and the electronic processing and storage of large volumes of information. It is characterised by the introduction of a set of digital technologies into production processes, making it possible to follow in real time everything that is happening on the production lines, or to substantially eliminate waste, and changing the relationship between the various players in the value chain, with the customer, with workers or even in the business model.
