Ordinance no. 221/2017, published on 21 July, approves the new forms for the Periodic VAT Return, Annex R and the Adjustments annexes, as well as the respective completion instructions. The new Periodic VAT Return forms will be used for tax periods from 1 September 2017. The first submission of the Periodic Return using the new forms will take place, according to the filing frequency, as follows: Quarterly filing: by 15 February 2018, for tax relating to the 4th quarter of 2017; Monthly filing: by 10 November 2017, for tax relating to the month of September 2017.
